Each channel is equipped with its own Volume control, while the Top Boost channel offers highly interactive Treble and Bass tone controls. Notably, the Tone Cut feature operates in the power stage, giving you an additional degree of tone-shaping. The Master Volume control works in conjunction with the individual volumes of each channel to create just the right degree of gain-staging. By balancing the individual and Master volumes, the Custom Series can deliver the coveted clean VOX "chimey" sound or a powerful overdriven tone - and everything in between.
The AC30 Custom Head also comes with spring reverb and tremolo that can be switched via the optional VFS2A footswitch. Only available in the head format, the reactive attentuator allows you to reduce the power output for full-bodied tones in low-volume situations, providing flexibility for live performance or playing at home.
